to one of over 900 Air Training Corps squadrons in the United Kingdom. Every squadron is different but this website will tell you what makes 1927 so special and why you should become a member. You can reap huge benefits by being a Cadet; take part in activities such as flying, gliding, shooting, fieldcraft and leadership lessons and develop your character by following the ethos and regulations of the British Armed forces, and in particular the Royal Air Force.
Although you may not want to join any of the Services in later life, the experience, knowledge and values that you need to be in the British Army, Royal Air Force or Royal Navy are the same as you need in many other jobs.
By becoming a cadet you will find that you will mature and obtain skills, interests and values that otherwise you would never have discovered. We look forward to seeing you in the near future!
